prostrate - colon
prostrate / colon OVERVIEW
Cancer is a disease in which cells in the body grow out of control. Prostate cancer begins in the cells of the prostate. The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system. It lies just below the bladder. It makes fluid that is part of semen. Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer. It often grows very slowly. If it does not spread to other parts of the body, it may not cause serious problems. But sometimes prostate cancer can grow quickly.
This therapy is NOT a replacement for radiation or chemotherapy and is generally recommended to clients after surgery and treatments are complete as a pain relief & prostrate health therapy.
THERAPY OVERVIEW
PEMF has been applied and studied for over twenty years as a non-invasive technology for the promotion and speed of wound healing and is effectively used as an adjuvant treatment in various pathologies including bone fractures, arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute inflammation, chronic inflammation, edema, pain, chronic pains, wounds, and chronic wounds. In the last ten years, their mechanisms of action have been deepened and, although they are still the subject of study today, some biochemical and metabolic pathways have been highlighted that are activated as a result of their interaction with living tissues and that explain the therapeutic effects detected in vivo, as well as in vitro.

effectiveness
The use of PEMF therapy in oncology is still limited. The first study utilizing PEMF therapy was conducted by Barbault and coworkers who hypothesized that a combination of specific frequencies, defined tumor-specific frequencies, may display therapeutic effectiveness for localized treatment of tumors. They identified a total of 1524 tumor-specific frequencies, ranging from 0.1 to 114 kHz, consisting in the measurement of variations in skin electrical resistance, pulse amplitude, and blood pressure in 163 patients affected by different types of cancer including brain tumors, colorectal cancer, HCC carcinoma, pancreatic, colorectal, ovarian, breast, prostate, lung, thyroid, and bladder cancer and exposed to the radiofrequency system. Self-administered PEMF therapy for 60 min, three times a day, for an average of 278.4 months was offered to only 28 patients with advanced cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, glioblastoma multiforme, HCC carcinoma, mesothelioma, neuroendocrine tumor, non-small-cell lung cancer, oligodendroglioma, small-cell lung cancer, sarcoma and thyroid tumor. None of the patients who received PEMF therapy reported any side effects; four patients presented stable disease for 3 years (thyroid cancer with biopsy-proven lung metastases), 6 months (mesothelioma metastatic to the abdomen), 5 months (non-small-cell lung cancer), and 4 months (pancreatic cancer with biopsy-proven liver metastases), respectively.
