MUSCLE BIOFEEDBACK

Test OVERVIEW

During a muscle biofeedback session, you're muscles are connected to electrical sensors that allows you receive electrical feedback information about your body's muscles.  This feedback helps you make subtle changes in your body, such as relaxing certain muscles, to achieve the results you want.  Muscle biofeedback can also help to quantify how much muscle fiber is engaging during exercise.

WHY

Why would you do this test?  Muscle biofeedback is an essential test for many reasons, but the two most important reasons an customer may want to schedule a muscle feedback test are.  Muscle biofeedback measures the electrical current being produced by the individuals body and controlling how much current is sent to the muscle is exactly what human & sports performance is all about.  Secondly, having a baseline muscle feedback test can measure and track performance increases and even more significantly it can inform an individual or an athlete if their muscles have recovered after a sports injury.

RECOMMENDED

Who is this test recommended for?   Muscle biofeedback analysis is recommended for every customer or athlete regardless of age or the sport they play.  Having a baseline muscle biofeedback analysis will let customers and athletes know when their muscle has recovered from an injury and it is safe to return to practice.

HOW OFTEN

How often should you repeat this test?  Muscle biofeedback analysis should be performed every 6-9 months to maintain an accurate baseline in case of injury.

BODY PARTS

Which body parts are or can be tested?   Muscle biofeedback analysis can be used on every muscle in the body.

RESULTS

What are the results of this test? Muscle biofeedback analysis will determine the strength of the neurological connection made with each muscle in the body.   Typically the stronger the current received, the more active the muscle is in the athlete.

SUMMARY

What does this help to improve?  Knowing how your muscles are performing is typically a guessing game, how do they feel?, are they fatigued? are they sore?, but with muscle biofeedback we are able to take a lot of the guessing out of that question.
